Digital Illustrations

Creating digital illustrations is a great way to wind down after a long day. I only wish I had more time to invest in it, since I still have a lot of potential to improve. Maybe one day I will have enough time to dedicate to improving quickly. In the mean time here you can find some of my sketches and experiments.

A golden ball done in Krita as an experiment in painting shiny surfaces.

Playing around with bump maps and normal maps in Blender.

This picture illustrates how powerful and lean Inkscape can be. Using only a few simple shapes, gradients and blurs can already provide some nice results.

In Inkscape a simple use of filters can make a huge difference.

A simple flying saucer in Blender.

My first attempt at a seamless pixel-art tile-set, using Krita and Inkscape.

Prison cell scene drawn from above. Can you spot some clues as to the escape plan?
